Several studies over recent years have shown the importance of diversity on company boards. Almost universally the studies have shown that the companies with the most diverse boards in terms of ethnicity and gender tend to generate more profit as well as being better run. With this in mind Forster Chase has been a passionate supporter of diversity since the inception of the business. We regularly conduct searches where diversity plays a key role and we work with HR Directors, Chairmen, CEOs and senior management to find the most diverse group of people possible for our shortlists. This doesn’t just apply to our board-level searches, but for searches at all levels. For example, we are currently developing a bespoke pipeline of female and BME candidates for asset management clients to give them better intelligence and access to the best emerging talent.
