Business growth consultancy, Forster Chase Group, is delighted to announce the appointment of Nick Watts and Mark Beacom in the newly created roles of Chair and Managing Partner for the executive search business. These appointments will support our accelerated growth strategy for the group.

Nick Watts, Chair
Nick’s executive career was focused on the investment and pensions industry. His early career included senior positions with Rothschild, Citibank and HSBC before spending 12 years with Watson Wyatt (now Willis Towers Watson) as Head of Investment Practice for Europe. Nick’s Non Executive career has included numerous Chair and Senior Independent Director roles including; Chair of the Investment Committee for Cable and Wireless Pension Fund (£2bn fund), Chair of Corporate Governance and SID for Legal & General Investment Management and Chair of Biotics PTY Ltd, a growth stage biotech company.
Nick’s wealth of directorial experience in asset management, investment and governance will be instrumental in supporting our accelerated growth strategy.

Mark Beacom, Managing Partner
Prior to joining Forster Chase, Mark spent 15 years as a Director of a global search and selection organisation with responsibility for their business in the UK. He has demonstrable experience within Financial Services, Industry & Commerce and the Built Environment recruiting at Board Level. His early career was spent with Whitbread plc, De Vere and Walmart.

Mark will run Forster Chase’s board practice, recruiting C-level executives and non-executive directors. He will focus on start-up companies in the early stages of growth funding, private equity portfolio companies and small/ mid-cap businesses in need of executive talent to aid growth or support turnaround. He will work closely with his Business Advisory and Interim Management colleagues in supporting the firm’s clients through all stages of the growth and development cycle. In addition, he will be responsible for developing operations across the Forster Chase Group that support service delivery to clients as well as corporate governance and the attraction and development of new partners.
